My name is Suzannah Ogden and this is my first year at Cambridge Academy.

About Me:

In 2009, I began my education at Mesa Community College while working for a company that assists individuals with special needs. In 2011, I decided to pack my bags and move to the middle of nowhere (Decorah, Iowa). I graduated from Luther College with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (K-6). I also received an endorsement in middle school mathematics and science. For the last two years I was a substitute in both Iowa and Arizona. While student teaching and subbing, I was able to discover which grade level I loved most. Fortunately for me, Cambridge offered me a teaching position in my absolute favorite grade: 2nd !!!

A few fun facts:

I have a beautiful one-year- old daughter

I LOVE to dance. I have been dancing for 13 years and I was a Varsity Pom

I really enjoy reading! If you walk into my classroom, you’ll notice I have my own library… literally. I want my kiddos to enjoy reading, too!

I have been CPR & First Aid certified for 10 years.

My first job was as a Life Guard at Big Surf.

On the weekends, I work with my brother who has severe Cerebral Palsy.
